Welcome to our online class!
Since we aren’t able to meet in person, I’ve created this website so facilitate online learning.
How it works
Select your course from the drop-down menu above. You will see two web pages for each course.
1) The “overview” page is a blog on which I will post what you are expected to do every week. This will include videos to watch for new content, notes to go over, assignments, and assessments. The blog posts will include links to the materials.
2) The “content” page is a collection of all the sources and assignments that you will use to learn the content. It gives you access to everything in one place, but you can also access the required materials from the blog posts.
FAQ
Where can I know due dates for things?
I will continue to post assignments on the portal so that can go in the gradebook, but the best place to look is the weekly blog posts that I will post on this website. I will send you an email with the link to new posts so you know when they go up.
How do I submit assignments?
Continue to submit your assignments on the drive like we have all year. You can label assignments with the title instead of the date.
How will assessments happen?
Assessments will be put on Desmos. I will email you the link to the activity the morning of the assessment.
How do I get in touch with Ms. Abaziou if I have questions?
The best way to reach me is by email.
When will we have in-person class meetings?
We will also be meeting on Zoom at least twice a week. Please check your McLean School Google Calendar or the weekly blog posts to find out when. I have set email and Google notification reminders for the day before and 10 minutes before each meetings.
When is my tutorial?
I’ve assigned one tutorial day for each course (see schedule below). We will be using the same link for all tutorials. If you need help on a day that is not assigned to your course, you are welcome to check in, but students from that day’s course will have priority.
